MARKETING

POSTER

The poster is designed to look like one that is advertising an actual amusement park, like all of the other visual elements of Pleasure Park. It follows the conventions of amusement park advertisements, and the conventions of Sky TV advertisements. As well as this, it follows the conventions set out by the branding, by using the same graphics, fonts, and colours. It is designed to catch the eye of anyone who walks by it. And finally it includes a tagline, which is a quote from the park manager Frank Diamond.

BILLBOARD

The billboard is designed to be big and eye catching. It follows the conventions set out by Pleasure Park's branding, and by previous Sky productions. It uses the same graphics, colours, and fonts as other Pleasure Park advertisements.

The bus poster is designed to follow the conventions of common bus posters, as well as other sky advertisements. It uses all of the same graphics, fonts, and colours as other Pleasure Park promotions. It is eye-catching and stands out in the distance, which is where most people will see it from.

BUS POSTER

As mentioned, Sky often advertise their programming on the front page of their Sky Guide, which is accessible by Sky TV customers. The Sky guide adverts follow the conventions set out by other guide adverts, as well as the conventions set out by other Pleasure Park promotional material. The adverts use the same fonts, colours, and graphics as other Pleasure Park material.

SKY GUIDE ADVERTS

Like its branding, Pleasure Park is marketed like a real amusement park. All elements of the marketing are designed to look as though they are advertising the park itself, not the show. As this show is brand-new, it's marketing is extremely important in insuring it pulls in an audience, and so it has also been designed to look eye-catching and attractive. All the marketing follows the same style and themes of the branding and title card designs. Each item also features the release date, which is an important element of advertising a TV programme.

In the past the show's broadcaster Sky has marketed it's programmes in the following ways:

Posters, Billboards, Bus Posters

They also commonly use their own Sky TV Guide platform to advertise their programming to Sky TV customers.
