Sky One has a history of commissioning original British comedy productions, as well as a history commissioning workplace comedies (e.g. Trollied). This show is very British, so it belongs on a British channel, that loves broadcasting British comedy. As well as this, the light, colourful and friendly feel of the Sky One brand matches the feel and style of this programme.

Although Sky One mainly broadcast US programmes, it makes a point in broadcasting British original programming on a regular basis. Sky also have deals with US broadcasters like FOX that enable them to share programming, which means Pleasure Park could be broadcast on an international scale.

Sky also have an On-Demand service for Sky customers, so this show would also be available as a boxset for the audience to watch when they feel like. This works well for those who prefer to binge watch.

As Sky One is a subscription based channel, you have a little more creative freedom than you would if you were broadcasting on a channel funded purely by advertising (ITV1) or on a channel funded by the Government (BBC1).
